MG Girls weekend away

Last weekend was my annual Mothers Group Mummy's only girls weekend away.
Myself and another mummy organise a little get away each year. This was our third trip and it was my favourite one so far. Check out what we did.

We opted for some city living this year and stayed in Sydney at the Swissotel Sydney on Market St. The perfect location for shopping!
Can I just say that the hotel was AMAZING beautiful decor, amazing service and just lovely. The rooms were spacious and luxurious.

As this was only an overnight weekend we made the most of it by meeting at our local Cafe H20 for a hearty breaky. The girls were greeted with special little goodie bags and place cards on the table to get us in the mood.

We were then chauffeured into the city in a stretch Limo complete with champagne, strawberries and a hilarious driver 'Charlie'.

Once we hit the city it was time for some retail therapy and a light lunch. We also squeezed in a mani and pedi!

Then on the the hotel. Jodie and I snuck up early and set up the rooms with another little treat for the weekend. Jodie made a MG 2012 T Shirt for all of us and a survival kit complete with chocolate, minties, bandaids, hair pins and of course Panadol.

After a yummy pig out of delicious junk food we had a very relaxing swim and spa at the hotel pool. And at 5:30 a surprise make up artists arrived to give the girls a mini make over.

So with out make up done and dancing shoes ready we hit the town for a little bit of night life. We enjoyed some cocktails and tapas at the Hilton's Zeta Bar and then managed to get in to the Ivy Pool Bar for some more cocktails, dancing and even a little swim. WOW! What an amazing club. Things have changed a little since we were tiny boppers.

We greeted Sunday morning with a lovely sleep in with no sounds or signs of children. (Pure Bliss) We enjoyed a late and long buffet breakfast in the hotel before hitting the shops AGAIN!

As our weekend drew to a close we were chauffeured home by 'Charlie' and the limo of course. With door to door service we said goodbyes and all agreed that this getaway was one to be remembered. (Geez I don't know how I can improve on this for next year.)

We all greeted our families waving from the limo knowing that even though reality was waiting on the front lawn for us, we would still be back together very soon as Mothers Group was the very next day!

Thanks ladies for one of the best weekends. I had a ball! xx
